Smoothie Recipes
 

Berry Berry Smoothie

1/2 cup frozen raspberries
 
1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries

1/4 cup cranberries (or other fresh fruit ? blueberries, peaches, chopped apple, etc.)

3/4 cup berry juice (more for thinner consistency)

1/8 cup vanilla protein powder or 1/2 cup plain yogurt or 1/3 cup tofu

1/8 cup (heaping) ground flax seeds

Optional : a few ounces of sparkling mineral water

1 package Emergen C (any flavor)

Mix together in blender. Makes about 2 servings.
 
 
Orange Dream Smoothie

1 peach or nectarine or mango

3/4 cup orange juice (more for thinner consistency)

1/8 cup vanilla protein powder (or 1/2 cup plain yogurt or 1/3 cup tofu plus a few drops of vanilla extract)

1/8 cup (heaping) ground flax seeds

A few ice cubes

Optional: 1 package Tangerine flavored EmergenC

Mix together in blender. Makes about 2 servings.
 
 
Strawberry Banana Smoothie

1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries

1 banana (a little green is good or it gets too sweet)

3/4 cup apple or white grape juice (more for thinner consistency)

1/8 cup protein powder or 1/3 cup yogurt or 1/3 cup tofu

1/8 cup (heaping) ground flax seeds

Optional: Strawberry favored EmergenC

Mix together in blender. Makes about 2 servings.

Kiwi & strawberry
Coco powder & banana (sweeten with stevia if needed)
Mango, yogurt & lime juice, etc.
